$25 Theatre Tickets + Lake Huron Sunsets: Blyth Festival Get-Away

25 or under? $25 tickets! Any seat, any show, any time!

Are you a Blyth Festival lover? Have you never even heard of “Blyth”?

This is a guide for your next trip to see Original 🍁 Canadian 🍁Theatre 🍁, the countryside and one of the beautiful Great Lakes.

Blyth Festival

For more than 50 years, the Blyth Festival has brought powerful Canadian theatre to the stage—stories that uplift and bring people together. New Canadian shows are featured every year and performed either at our outdoor venue, Harvest Stage, or in the historic Memorial Hall. Whether you’re a theatre enthusiast or a casual theatre goer, you have to see a show. The festival has a special offer where if you’re 25 or younger, you can get tickets for just $25!

Sounds like a great deal, right?

It is.

While you’re in Blyth for a show, take advantage of the outdoors and get back in the good books with Mother Nature…

Goderich: The “Double Sunset” (25-minute drive from Blyth)

In Goderich, located along the shore of Lake Huron, you can see something special: a “Double sunset”. Yeah, you heard that right, you can watch the sun set from the water’s edge, and then run up the bluffs’ staircase to catch the same sunset again, this time from a 200-foot height. Not only are the sunsets amazing, but there’s a beautiful beach and boardwalk that spans 1.5 km along the water.

Port Albert

If that doesn’t satisfy your beach craving, there’s another, Port Albert, again only a 25-minute drive from Blyth. It features a massive beach along Lake Huron and a second body of water that’s great for paddleboarding and fishing, if that’s your thing.

G2G Trail

If you’re into biking and think you can take on a challenge, check out the “G2G” trail. Known as “G2G,” the Goderich-to-Guelph trail is quite magical, spanning over 132 km. The whole trail is about an 11-hour ride, but you can opt for the shorter ride that gets you from Blyth to Goderich in 2-3 hours.

Think you can do it?

We believe in you.

Wawanosh Park Conservation Area (15-minute drive from Blyth)

Feeling disconnected from nature? This place will repair your relationship.

The Wawanosh Park Conservation Area is packed with breathtaking riverside views and hikes through radiant forests. The park spans over 400 acres, and the Maitland River runs right through the property. Fishing on the river is great with plenty of Chinook Salmon, Bass, and Rainbow Trout. Also on the river, paddlers can test their ability with a combination of relaxing, calm waters and challenging spring rapids.

Falls Reserve Conservation Area (20-minute drive from Blyth)

Interested in camping? Or a day trip to a 230-acre natural outdoor playground?

The Falls Reserve Conservation Area is the perfect place where the trip can finally make it out of the group chat. Virtually fully enclosed by the Maitland River, the water has carved into the rock over thousands of years, leaving behind a scenic, rugged river valley. The river tumbles over small waterfalls as it winds through the park, creating a one-of-a-kind swimming spot for visitors. The campgrounds are fun and affordable, with prices as low as $50 per night. The sites offer easy access to the park trail system and the river swimming area.
