We’re so pleased that Jamie Mac is making his Blyth Festival debut for our 50th Season!

Jamie is a proud Newfoundlander who has worked on stages all across the country, from coast to coast. Notably, he has 8 seasons at the Stratford Festival under his belt as well as being part of the acting company at the National Arts Centre earlier in his career. You may also recognize him from television shows like Murdoch Mysteries or Republic of Doyle, among others.

He’s an incredible team member, a wonderful person, and we can’t wait to see what he conjures up in The Farm Show: Then & Now and Birgitte Solem’s Resort to Murder.

For tickets and more information about our 2024 Season, please visit our website or give our box office a call at 877-862-5984.

We are so grateful to have Cowbell as the official beer and cider sponsor for our 50th season!

Pictured here: Jonathan’s Dubyk, President and CFO of Cowbell and Artistic Director Gil Garratt outside the iconic Cowbell restaurant and brewery in Blyth. When you’re in town seeing a show, be sure to check out their incredible facility: take a tour, sit on the patio, enjoy a locally brewed beverage!

Yesterday we began rehearsals for The Farm Show: Then & Now. It was so exciting to have the whole team together in one room to start exploring! Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston and Beth Kates presented their costume and set designs, sound designer Lyon Smith will be creating awesome soundscapes, actors Geoff Armour, Jamie Mac, Landon Doak, Hallie Seline, and Fiona Mongillo read through the script, and director Gil Garratt lead a discussion with special guest Alison Lobb who, back in 1972, was heavily involved with the origins of the show.

We’re really looking forward to you seeing what this room of incredible people are about to build.

The Farm Show runs June 12th - August 4th. For tickets, please visit our website or give our box office a call at 877-862-5984.

We’re blessed to have Cameron Laurie back home with us for another Summer! Born and raised in Huron County, Cam was a member of our Young Company as a teenager before heading out into the world. He is now a Founder and Artistic Leader of the highly acclaimed The Howland Company.

You’ll remember Cam from last year’s The Donnelly’s Trilogy, as well as previous seasons in The Drawer Boy and Our Beautiful Sons: Remembering Matthew Dinning. This year he’ll be tackling roles in Bev Cooper’s The Trials of Maggie Pollock and Gil Garratt’s Saving Graceland…. We are really so excited to see him on the Blyth stage again!

For tickets and more information about our 50th Season, please visit our website or give our box office a call at 877-862-5984.

Janet-Laine Green is a gem and she still looks stunning!. First seen her when Seeing things aired ( ya I'm that old 😆) and I still watch it to this day! Feels like I grew up with her and others thru the years, wow, warm nostalgic feelings...

You forgot to mention SEEING THINGS!
