PJ Prudat

PJ is a Treaty 6 born, proud Métis/nehiyaw (roots to Batoche, Red River, Qu’Appelle) & French/Scandinavian actor and writer. She holds residencies with the Theatre Centre and Nightswimming and recently with Canadian Stage. PJ has performed as a company actor at the Shaw Festival, the National Arts Centre English Theatre, the NAC’s Indigenous Theatre’s inaugural “Unnatural and Accidental Women,” and in luminous IBPOC creative-led shows extensively across the country. Her maternal 3rd great-grandparents were Buffalo hunters and Résistance fighters; she loves ice-cream, hats and poetry; and horses and riding is to her what dreams are made of. She joyously toured Café Daughter across the Yukon in 2011 and then across the country in 2013. To PJ, this show is a rare gift to share and she extends great thanks and awe to Ken and Lillian to all here who make it possible. Kinanaskomitin.
