Mark Crawford is no stranger to the Blyth Festival. Blyth produced the world premieres of Mark’s plays Stag and Doe, The Birds and the Bees, and The New Canadian Curling Club, as well as a production of Bed and Breakfast in which he appeared as an actor. As one of Canada’s most-produced playwrights, his work has been seen across the country and internationally. For the CBC Podcast PlayME, Mark wrote the audio drama Don’t Get Me Startered and recently recorded Bed and Breakfast—available wherever you get your podcasts! As an actor, Mark has performed at theatres from coast to coast. He grew up on his family’s farm near Glencoe, studied theatre at University of Toronto and Sheridan College, and now lives in Stratford.
