Graham Hargrove


Graham is a Stratford-based percussionist. He has performed 12 seasons at the Stratford Festival. He has performed professionally on four continents, in many styles and genres of music. Recently he has been heard in concert with Loreena McKennitt in her Midwinter Night’s Music concerts. He has recorded on many CDs including Reinventions and Theme and Evolutions with percussionist Nicholas Coulter, A440 with fiddler Dan Stacey as well as four albums with the Evergreen Club Contemporary Gamelan. He received his training at the Universities of Victoria (BMus) and Toronto (MMus). Awards include 2017 and 2019 All-Ireland Bones Championships (2nd place 2017, 3rd place 2019); two Guthries; one Dora (2015). Graham is thrilled to be returning to Blyth for the first time since the 2019 production of A Huron County Christmas Carol.
