Geoffrey is elated to have been invited back for the 50th Anniversary Season of the Blyth Festival Theatre. This will be his 11th season at the festival. Six of which he served in the Young Company, two as a House Manager, one as the director of the Young Company and after last year’s romp in The Donnellys: A Trilogy he will be joining the festival again in The Farm Show: Then and Now and Resort to Murder. Geoffrey would like to dedicate this season to the Artistic and Administrative Leadership that have been the guardians of this incredible festival since its inception and to the volunteers and community members that keep this tractor running. See you at the Festival, it’ll be solid gold.

Other: Landon is also an award winning composer. In 2017 Bad Hats Theatres production of Peter Pan was awarded a Dora for Outstanding Production, in 2020 their show Life In A Box was awarded the Dora for Outstanding New Musical, and in 2023 Alice in Wonderland was awarded the Dora for Outstanding New Musical!

Jamie Mac is honoured to make his Blyth Festival debut! He has performed 8 seasons at the Stratford Festival, as well as at many theatres across Canada including the National Arts Centre, GCTC, Canadian Stage, Stage West, Two Planks & A Passion and more. In Film & Television you can see him in Painkiller, What We Do In The Shadows,  On The Count Of Three, Murdoch Mysteries, Republic Of Doyle, and Life With Derek.  Jamie is proud Newfoundlander and has developed a deep love of rural Ontario communities.

Fiona Mongillo

Fiona is the Founding Artistic Director of Here For Now Theatre Company (HFN). Selected credits include the Canadian Premiere of Girls & Boys as part of the HFN 2022 season and the Crow’s Theatre 2023 season, Angelina in Whack! (HFN), Senta von Schrader in Framed (Lighthouse), Louise in The Enchantment (HERE Arts, NYC); Bessie in The Young Ladies of Baddeck(Theatre Baddeck); Rose in Eigengrau, Elisabeth in Laundry and Bourbon(HFN). Selected Film Credits:  Constance Weatherly/Madeline Tomkins in Murdoch Mysteries (CBC); Donald’s Secretary in The Apprentice (Ali Abbasi/Apprentice Productions). Directing: Post Alice (HFN). Training: BFA in Acting, UBC; MA in Classical Acting, LAMDA. Fiona grew up in Lucknow and was a part of the Blyth Festival’s young company from 1998 – 2003.

Hallie is thrilled to return to the Blyth Festival this summer and honoured to be a part of this 50th Anniversary Season. She grew up in the Eastern Townships of Québec, and now calls Toronto home. Selected Theatre Credits: The Donnellys: A Trilogy (Blyth Festival), Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Prodigal, Three Sisters, Casimir and Caroline, The Wolves, Punk Rock (The Howland Company); Prairie Nurse (Lighthouse Festival); Stag and Doe (Bluewater Summer Playhouse); As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare BASH’d). Selected TV: Fellow Travelers (Showtime), Everything’s Going To Be Great (Amazon), Mayday (Discovery). Hallie is a Founding Artistic Leader of The Howland Company, an acclaimed independent Toronto theatre company. She has won a Dora Award and a Toronto Theatre Critics Association Award.

Actor, director, playwright, collaborator, Gil has been with the Blyth Festival in some capacity or other since 1999. Outstanding shows over the years have included: The Donnellys: A Trilogy, Death of the Hired Man, The Drawer Boy, The Outdoor Donnellys, World Without Shadows, Pearl Gidley, The Nutalls, A Killing Snow, the Last Donnelly Standing, The Pigeon King, In the Wake of Wettlaufer. Gil has been artistic director since 2014, and lives on a little farm in Central Huron with his wife and four beautiful children.

Jennifer has been fascinated with the language of clothes since she was a teenager and the study of clothing is her passion. She is a designer, educator, creator and purveyor of costume and fashion.  Jennifer is the owner of Pick a Posie Vintage – just down the street at the corner of Wellington and Queen. Arguably the most influential play in Canadian theatre, The Farm Show was originally produced in a barn just fifteen minutes outside of Blyth, and was directly responsible for the founding of the Festival. This gentle adaptation brings you the original in its glory, and shines on a light on its singular legacy in our community. Come see the show that inspired the very dream of the Blyth Festival.
