Director

Severn is a director, theatre creator, actor and Associate Artistic Director at Blyth Festival who has worked in theatres across the country. Her first professional acting role was at Blyth, playing a mennonite girl in Cookie Wars. She later appeared in productions such as Local Talent, Seeds, and Chronicles of Sarnia. As director, her work at Blyth includes Beyond the Farm Show, Team on the Hill, Wing Night at the Boot, Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: The Farmerettes, and The Pigeon King. Other directing credits include Candida, Just to Get Married (Shaw Festival), Measure for Measure (Shakespeare in High Park), and the Dora Award-winning Peter Pan (Bad Hats/Soulpepper).
