Director

Peter Hinton-Davis has directed over 250 projects for theatre and opera since 1984. He has directed the premieres of plays by John Mighton, Trina Davies and Makram Ayache. He has also directed new operas by Brian Current and Marie Clements and Rufus Wainwright and Daniel MacIvor. Peter was Artistic Director of English Theatre (NAC 2005-2012). He is the recipient of numerous Canadian theatre awards and was made Officer of the Order of Canada in 2009.
