For Blyth Festival, Mark has appeared in Vimy, Bed and Breakfast, and Chase the Ace. Blyth has premiered three of his plays as a writer: Stag and Doe, The Birds and the Bees, and The New Canadian Curling Club, and has also produced Bed and Breakfast and Chase the Ace. His newest play, The Gig, premiered at Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius in March. His plays have been produced extensively in Canada and around the world in Australia, New Zealand, Poland, England, and the United States. Closer to home, The New Canadian Curling Club is on stage this summer at Drayton Festival Theatre and Huron Country Playhouse, and Bed and Breakfast plays at Lighthouse Festival Theatre and Orillia Opera House. As an actor, Mark has performed at theatres from coast to coast. Most recently, he spent over a year performing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child with Mirvish Productions in Toronto. Mark grew up on his family’s beef farm near Glencoe and now lives in Stratford. He’s happy to be back at Blyth, working on Matt’s play with Miles and this great cast and creative team.
