Costume Designer

Amanda Wong is an award winning Toronto based set and costume designer for live performance and media. As an artist she is interested in the exploration of the overlap of heightened reality and the surreal lucid spaces – seemingly separate spheres that do intersect one another. Amanda has been honoured with the outstanding design award in Toronto’s Summerworks Festival for two consecutive years collaborating with directors Severn Thompson and ted witzel and multiple nominations for the Pauline McGibbon Award. She has designed costumes for tv, web series and feature films. In 2020, Amanda designed a 100′ long plexiglass ice sculpture in front of Union station. Amanda is elated to be welcomed back to Blyth and invited to collaborate with this season’s artists. See her work next in Nightwood Theatre’s Enormity Girl; and the earthquake in the Lungs (Sept. 2025) or in Tarragon Theatre’s CHILD-ish (Oct 2025) or stream Cows Come Home on Fibe Tv.
