A Huron County Christmas Carol
By Gil Garratt with Original Songs by John Powers
It’s 2025, and greedy tycoon Ebeneezer Scrooge has bought up every feedmill from Windsor to Tobermory, Lake Huron to the Ottawa River. With billions in the bank and Ontario’s farmers under his thumb, Scrooge sits on his riches and refuses to give a dime to help those less fortunate…but on Christmas Eve, he is visited by (yep, you guessed it) three ghosts!
Chock full of live music by local songwriter John Powers. A Hilarious Haunted Holiday tradition.
“Of all the many versions of Dickens’s story I’ve seen this is the first that is truly moving.”
– Christopher Hoile, Stage Door
“Randy Hughson creates one of the most memorable Scrooges I have ever seen.”
– Kelly Monaghan, Ontario Stage
