This is David Scott’s Third Act of “Life in Seaforth.” Most of his career was spent in the media, first with CBC’s The Journal, then six years in community papers, managing editor of a medical journal, editor of Western’s Alumni Gazette, a return to Huron County to continue writing, bartending, and storytelling at local craft breweries. He now lives/works on his family farm in Seaforth with his wife Becky and their 3 Blue Heeler crosses.

Actor, director, playwright, collaborator, Gil has been with the Blyth Festival in some capacity or other since 1999. Outstanding shows over the years have included: Death of the Hired Man, The Drawer Boy, World Without Shadows, Pearl Gidley, The Nutalls, A Killing Snow, The Pigeon King, In the Wake of Wettlaufer and plenty of Donnellys shows. Gil has been artistic director since 2014, and lives on a little farm in Central Huron with his wife and four beautiful children.

When he’s not writing for the stage, John can be found performing throughout the county, bringing his signature wit, warmth, and melody to audiences wherever a good song—and a good story—are welcome.

Landon Doak (they/them) is a Dora award-winning actor and composer. Throughout their career, they have been fortunate enough to work with the Stratford Festival, The Shaw Festival, Canadian Stage, Soulpepper, Factory Theatre, Musical Stage, and featured in the DC Superhero film, Shazam! and in Murdoch Mysteries. They are the Artistic Associate of Bad Hats Theatre, and their composition work for Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and Life in a Box have all received Dora awards and nominations. Since 1987 Steve has designed award winning sets and lighting for more than 500 productions of theatre, dance and performance art. His work has toured extensively and has been seen in 25 countries around the world. Steve has received several awards including four Dora Awards for his designs. He has also been nominated for several of Canada’s most prestigious awards including the Siminovitch Prize in Theatre and thirty-three Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations.

Originally from Summerside, PEI, Adam has worked as sound designer/composer with Stratford Festival, Blyth Festival, Human Body Expression, Edmonton Opera, Here For Now Theatre and more. Adam has toured throughout North America as a percussionist with TorQ Percussion Quartet and Ladom Ensemble, and regularly plays in the pit for musical theatre productions with Mirvish Productions and Stratford Festival. Adam currently lives in Stratford, Ontario, with his wife Alice and their cats Ninja and Nazca.
