Shelayna Christante Joan/Nettie in Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: The Farmerettes

Shelayna (she/they) is a Toronto based actor and singer-songwriter born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. She moved to Toronto to embark on her passion for acting, and graduated from George Brown Theatre School in 2023. Since graduating, Shelayna has had the absolute joy of getting to play Lucy in Bad Hats Theatre’s production of Narnia (dir. Fiona Sauder), made their Canadian Opera Company debut in Don Giovanni (dir. Amy Lane), and is delighted to be making their Blyth Festival debut in Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: The Farmerettes (dir. Severn Thompson) this summer. Shelayna also wishes to acknowledge and thank all of the MANY many many loving, kind, warm hands that have helped to guide her along her path.

Autumn Davis is a Des McAnuff award winning artist and actor. She obtained her BFA in Acting from TMU (Ryerson University) in 2022.

Acting credits include: Storybook Search (Badhats), Surviving a Widowed Father (Obsidian), Alice in Wonderland, (Guildwood Festival Theatre) RobinHood and Shanty Show (The Lakeside Players). Born and raised in Scarborough, she passionately attacks performance and creation with curiosity and joyful collaboration. This enthusiastic mover and singer is simply jazzed to continually explore classic texts, dark comedies, directing, filmmaking and writing in whatever forms they may take.

Charlotte Dennis is an actor, writer and a dancer just for fun. She is a graduate of the acting program at The National Theatre School of Canada. Charlotte was a part of the Soulpepper Academy in 2023. Recent Theatre credits include: The Walk-up (Soulpepper), What Rough Beast (Centaur Theatre), Martyr (ARC), Boston Marriage (Headstrong Collective), Dimples (Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin). Film/TV credits include: Murdoch Mysteries (S17), Forever Young (S3), Alex & Isla (MayDay Pictures). Alicia Salvador (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary theatre artist born and raised in Toronto, ON. She is a graduate of the joint Theatre and Drama Studies program at the University of Toronto/Sheridan College, as well as the Commercial Dance program at George Brown College.
